Receipt Organizer: Scanner Privacy Policy

Receipt Organizer: Scanner is an offline-first receipt-scanning app operated by Alexander Landaverde. This policy describes the app's handling of information.

Information stored on your device

Receipt images, extracted fields, categories, notes, and optional local analytics counters are stored on your device. The app does not provide an account, cloud synchronization, or a Receipt Organizer server copy of your records.

Data we collect

We do not collect data from the app. Receipt images, recognized text, merchant names, amounts, notes, and local analytics counters are not sent to us. The app does not use advertising identifiers or track you across apps or websites.

Camera, photos, and Face ID

The app uses the camera and photos you choose to scan or import receipts. Text recognition runs on your device. Face ID, when enabled, is used only by iOS to unlock the app; the app does not receive or store biometric information.

Exports, backups, and purchases

When you export data or create a backup, you choose the destination. Encrypted backups use a passphrase that the app does not store. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple may process purchase information under its own privacy policy; Receipt Organizer does not receive your receipt contents through that process.

Your choices

You can delete individual records or erase all app data from Settings. You can turn off and erase optional local analytics counters in Settings. You may also remove the app and its local data using iOS.
