Voxstitch: Audio to Text Privacy Policy

Voxstitch turns audio recordings into text on your iPhone. The app is operated by Alexander Landaverde.

Recordings and transcripts

Voxstitch does not require an account or sign-in and has no app-operated backend or sync service. Audio you record or import is copied into Voxstitch's app storage. Recordings, transcripts, speaker labels, onboarding answers, and app preferences are stored on your iPhone. Speech recognition and speaker detection use models included with the app and run on your iPhone. Voxstitch does not send recordings, transcripts, speaker labels, or onboarding answers to us or to Superwall.

A device backup may include Voxstitch app data, depending on Apple's backup behavior and your iPhone's backup settings. This is separate from an app-operated sync service. You can remove saved recordings and transcripts from the app using Settings → Delete all recordings.

Superwall and app measurement

Voxstitch uses SuperwallKit to deliver a post-paywall offer experiment and measure paywall and subscription activity. Superwall may receive an app or device identifier, app and device details such as model, operating system and app version, language, locale and time zone, and coarse location inferred from the IP address used for a network request. It also receives purchase-history and product-interaction measurements, such as paywall and purchase or restore outcomes. This information can be associated with an app installation or device identifier and is used for analytics and app functionality. Voxstitch does not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app does not pass recordings, transcripts, speaker labels, or onboarding answers to Superwall. Subscriptions

Apple processes Voxstitch Pro subscription purchases and restores through the App Store and StoreKit. Voxstitch receives transaction and subscription-status information needed to provide access, but does not receive payment-card details. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.

Exports

When you choose to export a transcript, Voxstitch prepares a temporary text or WebVTT file and opens the iOS share sheet. You choose the destination. That destination's privacy practices apply to what you share with it.

Trial reminders

If you allow the optional reminder before a trial ends, Voxstitch schedules a local notification on your iPhone. It is not a push notification and the reminder is not sent to a Voxstitch server.
